Kansas pharmacist, Rick Kloxin, pled no contest to 14 misdemeanor counts in the Hogan’s Pharmacy internet pharmacy case.  Kloxin was the lead pharmacist at Hogan’s Pharmacy and plans to cooperate in the prosecution of Jolane and Mark Poindexter, the owners of Hogan’s.  In March, Kloxin lost his license and was fined $62,000.  A discussion of the [...]

Jose Riopedre and Susana Mendez both pled guilty in the District Court for the District of Maryland today to conspiring to distribute more than two million doses of Phentermine via an internet pharmacy.  Both agreed to forfeit $1,500,000.  Sentencing is scheduled for July 15, 2009.

Fritz Brunz pled guilty today in the Northern District of California to owning and operating an Internet pharmacy (healthylifemeds.com) which introduced misbranded drugs (Ritalin, Halcion and Xanax) into interstate commerce.  Brunz will be sentenced on July 29, 2009.

After pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, Steven Rosner was sentenced to 33 months by a Judge in the Northern District of Texas for his role in an internet pharmacy operation.  According to the original 201 count indictment, Rosner operated offerpills.com and clickonmed.net to facilitate the distribution of controlled substances, paid doctors Arceli [...]
